Cricket had and still has been overwhelmed by many talented players. But some players are just stand out. Those players were and are generational and just different gravy. Continuing the series of favourite XI, I now here present you my dream cricketing team. This team would also include players that I didn't have had the pleasure to watch. I came to learn about them through different sources. So here I present my all time Test cricketing XI.
(Spoiler alert:- This list won't include Sir Don Bradman)
So here we begin the fun, again. Starting with...
1. Sunil Gavaskar
The original 'little master'. He was in my eyes perhaps the most technical batsman. He scored runs for fun. His concentration and ability with the bat was unprecedented.
2. Mathew Hayden
The second name of destruction. His flamboyant hitting made bowlers nervous. During those peak eras of Australian Cricket, he was absolutely brilliant for his team.
3. Sir. Viv Richards
A crickter who was way ahead of his time. He was destructive, audacious and absolute legend of the game.
4. Sachin Tendulkar
Unprecedented longevity, discipline, shot selection and no wonder why he is one of the greatest ever.
5. Brian Lara
His flair was captivatingly alluring. His ability to toy with the bowlers, to score 400 runs in a single innings made him one of the finest batsmen the world has ever seen.
6. Jacques Kallis
Rock solid with the bat and clinical with the ball. A generational all rounder and a South African legend.
7. Adam Gilchrist
He revolutionised the way people perceived wicket keeper batsmen. He was very aggressive with the bat and equally good with the gloves.
8. Shane Warne
I don't think anyone ever imagined that a person could spin a cricket ball in that fashion. 700 wickets and absolute genius.
9. Wasim Akram
My all time favourite bowler. He had a short run up, swinged the ball away and into the batsman and his fantastic ability to reverse swing made batsmen fear him.
10. James Anderson
A ridiculous longevity for a fast bowler. Close to 700 wickets he is still a world class bowler with the ability to swing the ball in both ways.
11. Glenn McGrath
Discipline, discipline and discipline. A perfect number 11 for any team. His accuracy with the cricket ball was beyond comprehension.
