What a season of premier league it has been. The title race, the race for Champions League and the relegation race are very interesting. Since this season is coming towards the conclusion, I wanted to build my team of the season. Again, this is my choice and it doesn't have to align with yours. My picks will be based on their performance, my liking of them and other factors too. So here we begin.
Starting with the....
Goal keeper :- Alison Becker 🇧🇷
I don't think there's any doubt in it. He has been fantastic for Liverpool even though Liverpool are having a shocker of a season.Right back :- Ben white 🇬🇧
He is a versatile player. In this season, he has helped Arsenal defensively as well as in buildup plays and I personally like him too. Yes Trippier has been fantastic but I am still taking White.Centre back :- Sven Botman 🇳🇱
Everyone knows how good he has been this season. A solid defender.Centre back :- William Saliba 🇲🇫
In his absence Arsenal lagged in defence. He is a pivotal part in that defensive lineup.Left back :-Nathan Ake 🇳🇱
I think he has been very good for city. Pep has used him well and he has delivered.Central defensive midfielder:- Rodri 🇪🇦
A very very solid player. He can defend, score bangers, I mean who doesn't want him in the team.Central attacking midfielder:- kevin de bruyne 🇧🇪
It's pretty obvious.Central midfielder:- Martin Odegaard🇧🇻
'El Capitano'. He has not just been a good leader but also a prolific goal scorer.Right wing :- Bukayo Saka 🇬🇧
Saka's been unbelievable this season. He is a brute force in that Arsenal attacking position.Striker :- Erling Haaland 🇧🇻
In his first season for City, he has broken all records. He is very physical, prolific goal scorer and the funniest guy in interviews.Left wing :- Kaoru Mitoma 🇯🇵
The Japanese samurai. He is a fantastic dribbler and plays a crucial role in that Brighton's team. Many would prefer Rashford but he isn't consistent enough for me.Manager :- Pep Guardiola 🇪🇸
Tactically he outclassed Arteta, klopp, Ten hag and everyone including Allardyce (jokes aside). His innovation, creativity and game understanding is beyond comprehension.Honorable mentions :- Harry kane, Mo Salah, kieran Trippier, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Mikel Arteta, Roberto de zerbi.
